Today, the International Esports Federation (IESF), announced a new collaboration with FITGMR in the next year. This collaboration is dedicated to providing the best tools and support to gamers in order to help them succeed and reach their full potential during the championships.

FITGMR hosted many workshops to promote the importance of player health and wellbeing, and contribute to players’ overall success during the World Esports Championships 2022, held in Bali, Indonesia.

Vlad Marinescu, President of IESF, stated that he was proud to work with FITGMR again. We are confident that our collaboration this year will make a bigger impact on the overall performance of the tournament, after receiving incredible feedback from players at the 14th World Esports Championships. FITGMR supports the goal of creating the best environment possible for our athletes and promotes well-being. We are excited to see the results of this partnership in Iasi.

The close collaboration between IESF & FITGMR will offer the esports community a variety of workshops, exercises and tips on nutrition, workouts, and mental well-being over the next year. It will also cover FITGMR’s five pillars.

Kristin Anderson , CEO of FITGMR stated: “It’s our mission to educate the entire world about what it means to become a cognitive athlete and give those athletes the tools to achieve their full potential.” It is difficult to change the narrative about gaming, health, and esports. Many gamers don’t understand why the FITGMR Five Pillars for Health are important. The IESF is a great support and a huge wind in our sails. I feel confident that it is possible to find partners like IESF, who are just as passionate about developing the next generation.

From August 24 through September 4, FITGMR will be back at the World Esports Championships 2023, in Iasi. They will be focusing on coaching players how to reduce anxiety and stress, keep their strength and stamina up, prevent burnout and improve team dynamics.

The 15th WE Championships will feature 120 nations and is the biggest edition of IESF’s flagship event. It will surpass the 2022 WE Championships, Bali, Indonesia which had over 600 participants.
