The French club has welcomed “Jeondding”, a TEKKEN 8 fighter, to its hive after the release of this year’s eighth edition of renowned game. The expansion of the organization’s presence in South Korea marks a milestone on the mission to dominate international stage.
JEONDDING MAKES DEBUT WITH TEAM VITALITY AT EVO JAPAN 2024
Jeon “Jeondding’ Sanghyeon is a dominant player on the competitive TEKKEN-8 scene. He has won several titles and achieved many successes. Jeondding was recently ranked in the top two of the Tekken 7 World Tour Grand Finals in 2022, and in the top eight players in 2023. He also dominated the world stage in the same calendar year as he won the CEO 2023 and VSFighting XI tournaments.
Jeondding is known for his unique gameplay style and his ability to master characters that are often overlooked in competitive play. This includes ‘Eddy Gordo. He has gained a lot of respect in the fighting games community for his ability to excel at these characters. Jeondding will showcase his skills as ‘Eddy Gordo,’ while he represents Team Vitality in EVO Japan. This is his first international appearance with the team.

“I was shocked when I received my first contact from Team Vitality. It was a dream of mine to join such a large team. Now, it has become a reality. During the exchange, I learned more about the club’s identity, its YouTube videos, and their tropes. It gave me goosebumps. REACHING NEW MILESTONES ON THE INTERNATIONAL SCENE BEFORE WORLD CUP OF ESPORTS
Team Vitality now has eight competitive games titles, ten rosters for male and female esports circuits, and ten rosters in total. This move not only strengthens the French club’s presence in South Korea, but also marks their return to the fighting games community. Jeondding’s involvement in major international events strengthens Team Vitality’s commitment to tackling global esports. Appearances are scheduled for TEKKEN tournaments at EVO Japan and Evo, as well as CEO.
