2023 will be a big year for Continent 8 Technologies. The company is the largest provider of managed hosting, connectivity and cloud solutions to the online gambling industry. It also celebrates 25 years as the trusted technology partner.
Its award-winning services include connectivity services, infrastructure hosting, including public and private clouds, as well a growing range of cyber security solutions that protect customers’ critical infrastructure from a rising number threats.
Continent 8 began with a Montreal data centre. Today, its private, connected network includes data centres and points-of-presence in over 90 locations on four continents. It will reach 100 locations by 2023. This network provides connectivity to customers in strategic locations and services newly regulated markets.
Continent 8 is the only US company to adopt a first-to-market strategy. This allows customers to take advantage of the highly competitive regulated market. It is currently available in 25 US states, and there are plans to launch it in Minnesota, Georgia, and Nevada.
The company is a strong presence on European markets, with state-of the-art data centers in key iGaming hubs like the Isle of Man and Malta, as well as a unique data center located in The Rock, a former Ministry of Defence facility.
Its LatAm offering continues to grow. At the moment, it is live with solutions via Colombia and Peru, and Puerto Rico. There will be launches in Argentina as well.
Continent 8 Asia will continue to expand its presence. Continent 8 currently has sites in Hong Kong and Singapore, but Continent 8 is expanding its presence in Asia. A dedicated team will be on the ground to serve the APAC region. The company is also looking at opportunities in Australia and Africa.
