The theme of this year’s Pink Oct campaign at SOFTSWISS, “A Minute Now, a Future Ahead”, emphasizes the importance early detection and prevention. Early diagnosis is crucial in the fight against breast cancer, which is the most common form of cancer among women. Early detection increases the relative 5-year survival rate to 99%.
Early detection includes monthly breast self-examinations, regular clinical breast exams, and mammograms. The company is refunding the mammograms and ultrasounds of each woman who works at SOFTSWISS.
SOFTSWISS Pink October offers a variety of activities during the entire month. A webinar on mental illness will be offered to those with the disease, in addition to reimbursement of medical examinations. Women from SOFTSWISS are taking part in a themed run to support the “Butterfly Support Mission” international charity movement.
Employees of the company also support this initiative personally. Influential females in the SOFTSWISS Community share information on the campaign via social media to raise awareness.
